For inexperienced customers looking for an easy solution, we offer our 1step easy mat package.  It includes a mat, backing and clear bag plus the positioning for the print is marked on the backing.Plus double faced tape is already attached for mounting your art work.  Most of our pre-cut mats are available in the 1step easy mat program and any quantity from 1 to 1000+ is available.

The "mainstay" of our matting program is our in-stock program.  Archival and standard core mats are offered.  Matting, backing and clear bags are sold separately. There are significant price discounts based upon order quantity.

Our Custom Cut matting program provides the most flexibility.  Customers can design their own mats by selecting the outside dimensions, window dimensions and bottom border.  They can search our Library of Designs.  The Library of Designs can be searched for outside matting size or matting window size as well as single window or multiple window matting.  The Library has over 3000 matting designs available.  Another positive of our Custom Cut program is that pricing is the same as our pre-made. pre-cut mats.  Only the minimum order, 10 identical mats (design and color) instead of 1 in the in-stock section and production time (10 days versus 1-3 days) is different. MATcutter.com rounds out our matting and backing offering with our "Specials" section.  Our unique specials section offers overstocks and miscellaneous mats at low quantities and lower prices.  Uniquely, our specials matting section allows you to also pick a complete selection of our pre-cut, Standard Cream Core mats.  Cream Core mats are the least expensive forms of matting.  They are great for economy lines of photos and other art work, tourist locations or just for temporary display.
